HOW BUYING WORKS
Every listing on sellcondhand.ng is either a live auction or a fixed-price Buy Now — some auctions offer both.
You're always in control. Bid manually round by round, or set a maximum bid and let sellcondhand.ng raise it for you automatically — only as much as needed to stay in the lead. Switch between the two anytime.
Fixed-price listings on the Marketplace, and some auctions, let you skip bidding entirely — pay the listed price and the item is yours immediately.
STEP BY STEP
Create an account and confirm your email and phone number. This keeps every buyer and seller on the platform accountable.
Filter by category, condition grade, and price. Bid on an auction — manually round by round, or set a maximum and let it bid for you — or use Buy Now for an instant purchase.
Pay from your wallet, Paystack, or Flutterwave. Your payment is held in escrow — the seller doesn't get paid until you confirm the item has arrived as described.
Once it arrives, confirm delivery on your order to release payment to the seller. If something's wrong, open a dispute instead — no funds move until it's resolved.
Selling requires identity verification (KYC) in addition to email/phone confirmation, so buyers know who they're dealing with.
Add 5–10 photos, pick a category and honest condition grade (A/B/C), fill in the specs, and choose auction (with a starting bid) or a fixed Marketplace price — or both.
Every listing is checked before it goes live. If something needs fixing, you'll see why and can edit and resubmit.
Once the buyer pays, ship the item. When they confirm delivery, your payout (sale price minus a 5% commission) lands in your sellcondhand.ng wallet, ready to withdraw.

Charged only when your item actually sells — never for listing, editing, or relisting. Minimum ₦5,000, capped at ₦50,000 per device.
Example: a device that sells for ₦300,000 costs ₦15,000 in commission — you keep ₦285,000.
FOR BUYERS
2.5% escrow & logistics fee
Added at checkout on top of the item price or winning bid, to cover secure escrow handling. Minimum ₦4,500, capped at ₦50,000.
Shown as a separate line item before you ever pay — never bundled invisibly into the price.
Payment releases to the seller only after you confirm delivery.
